20 courses in 20 seasons

Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia has competed on many tracks since its premiere at Ring Knutstorp in 2004. 19 pieces carefully counted. The French classic Circuit de la Sarthe, on which the second round of the year will be decided, they will be the 20th.

Mantorp Park in Östergötland is the track Porsche Carrera Cup has visited the most times. There have been 26 races so far. Most of them have been the last of the season, the final. In fact, Mantorp Park is the only course that has been included in the Carrera Cup calendar every year since 2004!

Skånska Ring Knutstorp, where the premiere was held in 2004, is second on the list with its 23 races, closely followed by Gelleråsen Arena at 22.

The above-mentioned trio stands out. Fourth-placed Falkenberg Motorbana and fifth-placed Scandinavian Raceway have hosted the Porsche Carrera Cup 13 and 12 times respectively.

Already in the first season, the championship went beyond the borders of the country. At that time, competitions were held in both Ahvenisto and Alastaro in our eastern neighbour Finland.

Since then, the Porsche Carrera Cup has also competed in Denmark, Norway and Germany. And this year, the championship makes its first visit to France, at the Circuit de la Sarthe in conjunction with the classic Le Mans 24H.
