PorscheSport Code of Conduct

All representatives are expected to uphold PorscheSport’s values of Respect, Excellence, Accountability and Pride.

This code of conduct contains the guidelines and expectations of PorscheSport concerning the behaviour and conduct of our employees, officials and other persons under the direction of or representing PorscheSport at any time or in any place including:

(a) at PorscheSport or other events such as social or sponsorship events (Event/s); 
(b) while travelling to or from those places; and
(c) at all other times at which Representatives are wearing PorscheSport apparel or uniforms, whether compulsorily or by choice.


1 Place Safety, Health and Welfare above all else

1.1 Always place the safety and welfare of children above other considerations. Ensure you are aware of your mandated responsibility to report suspicion of child abuse and neglect. 

1.2 Recognise that the motorsport, by its very nature, carries a certain level of risks and dangers, and exercise due care and caution at all times.

1.3 Be medically fit to carry out the required duties of the role you accept at an Event. If you are unable to do so, you must notify luke@porschesport.com and the event organisers immediately. PorscheSPort will be the sole judge of medical fitness for officiating roles and reserves the unconditional right to remove any representative from a role on this basis. 

2 Operate within the rules of the sport, including National and International guidelines

2.1 Representatives must abide by all Rules, Regulations, policies and procedures and any amendments or additions, which may be in force at any time.

3 Comply with all requirements of venues, PorscheSport and the law 

3.1 Respect and comply with the requirements of venues at all times. 

3.2 Respect the intellectual property of PorscheSport and understand that all training materials and regulations are the property of PorscheSport.

3.3 Comply with all National and local laws.

4 Be professional in conduct, behaviour and personal appearance 

4.1 Act professionally and in a sportsmanlike manner at all times. 

4.2 Be positive role models to others.

4.3 Acknowledge that PorscheSport is committed to providing fair, safe and socially responsible motorsport.

4.4 All representatives shall not publicly behave, act or speak in such manner that is detrimental, prejudicial or offensive to the Event, the Event organisers or their associated organisations, PorscheSport, or PorscheSport Sponsors.

4.5 Understand that the conduct of representatives directly reflects on PorscheSport and that you have a responsibility to ensure PorscheSport's public image is not tarnished.

4.6 All representatives must exhibit professional presentation, including wearing correct uniform and maintaining appropriate standards of personal hygiene.


5 Be responsible and accountable for all actions taken

5.1 Any representatives who brings motorsport into disrepute or commits an act prejudicial to the interest of PorscheSport or motorsport generally may face disciplinary action. 

5.2 All representatives shall, with prior training, supervision and/or licensing, accept full responsibility to the assigned role during the Event.

6 Be ethical, fair, impartial and honest in all their dealings with other people and PorscheSport

6.1 Be consistent, objective and courteous when making decisions.

6.2 Do not use your involvement with PorscheSport to promote your own beliefs, behaviours or practices where these are inconsistent with those of PorscheSport

6.3 Declare and avoid all conflicts of interest prior to accepting or performing a role. 

6.4 Act with integrity at all times.

6.5 Officials must not gamble or wager in relation to any Event to which they are appointed. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes all categories on any day of an Event in which you are representing PorscheSport, whether trackside or otherwise.

7 Respect each other, and be open to communication and feedback

7.1 Treat all persons with respect and courtesy and have proper regard for their dignity, rights and obligations.

7.2 Be open to communication and feedback given to assist with your development as an representative. 

7.3 Do not participate in or tolerate any form of violence, abuse, harassment or intimidation of others. 

7.4 Do not treat anyone differently because of gender, age, roles allocated, experience, sexual orientation, race, culture, religion or any other protected attribute.

7.5 Respect the lines of authority established for the control of the Event and comply with all reasonable instructions from senior officials. 

8 Seek continual self-improvement 

8.1 Representatives should aim to continually improve through representation at events and completing training to upgrade their level of competency.
