Enzo Elias insists until the end to win for the 3rd time in the year

In the season marked by the biggest alternation of winners in the history of the Porsche Cup C6 Bank Mastercard, Enzo Elias had arrived in Argentina as the only competitor among the more than 40 of the event to repeat victory in 2022. And he finished the Termas de Río Hondo stage as the only one to triumph three times a year.

The overtaking for the victory in the Carrera Cup came with two laps to go, with the #73 car overcoming a fierce Rodrigo Mello with the #29 Porsche. As a result, Enzo is now runner-up in the points table, 20 points behind Marçal Müller, fourth in Friday's race.

In the Sport and Rookie classes, Lucas Salles and Lineu Pires, winners of the previous day, repeated their triumphs, expanding a little more the margins they have in the leadership of the sub-championships.

For the Sprint Challenge there was also a repeat winner. After traveling more than 2,000 kilometers on a motorcycle for the 2022 international stage, Nelson Marcondes jumped from third to second at the start and then passed Vina Neves. He was firm on the restart to win for the second time this year, controlling Cristian Mohr's harassment in the end. With the victory, Marcondes advanced from fifth to third in the points table.

The championship lead remains in the hands of Raijan Mascarello, fourth after a battle with Marcio Mauro. 

Miguel Mariotti climbed into the final position of the overall podium and lifted the victory in the Sport class. In Rookie, Gustavo Zanon repeated the triumph of the previous day.

The next Sprint stage of the Porsche Cup C6 Bank Mastercard takes place in Goiânia, on October 8th and 9th. Before that, the most produced competition cars on the planet contest the opening of the Endurance championship, this Sunday.
