Successful shake down despite typical April weather

A few plus degrees, freezing cold wind and – snow! It was the conditions that prevailed at Gelleråsen Arena when Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia called for shake down for all new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) on Thursday. Not an optimal racing weather, of course, but the atmosphere was still on top. Teams and drivers really enjoyed rolling out the new cars for a long-awaited premiere test.

Apart from the April weather, the day went according to plan. Of the eight – out of a total of 15 – the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) that participated, the majority rolled over 50 laps. And all of them did so without the slightest mishap or technical worries.
A shake down is a shake down and no real test, but the transponder was on all the cars and every lap was clocked.
And the fastest was? Defending champion Lukas Sundahl!

The drivers who participated in Thursday's shake down were:
Lukas Sundahl, Micke Kågered Racing
Jan Magnussen, Porsche Expérience Racing
Ola Nilsson, Mtech Competition
Emil Persson, Kristoffersson Motorsport
Oscar Löfquist, Kjellin Motorsports
Gustav Bergström, Kristoffersson Motorsports
Marcus Annervi, Race Team Gelleråsen – change AFR
Thomas Karlsson, Mtech Competition
