Kelly-Moss Road and Race Under New Ownership

Kelly-Moss Road and Race is now under new ownership following the complete takeover of the championship-winning organization by the husband-and-wife team of Andy Kilcoyne and Victoria Thomas.

The Wisconsin-based squad, founded by brothers Jeff and David Stone in 1988, has gone through a “gentle transition” through joint ownership since 2020, according to a statement from the team, with a “seamless” move anticipated ahead under the new sole ownership.

Thomas joined Kelly-Moss in 2011 while Kilcoyne arrived a few years later and became CEO in 2015.

“We were very grateful that Jeff has allowed us to slowly take over the company in a way that guarantees no transitional gaps, and are honored to be entrusted with the legacy of such an impressive brand,” said Thomas.

Kilcoyne added: “Focusing on staffing and culture has been a strategy that has been incredibly rewarding.

“The steady growth and team success has been the cornerstone to giving our clients the very best experience on and off the track.”

David Stone will remain on-board with the team in a founder and race brand ambassador role.

“From the start the only goal David and I ever had for Kelly-Moss was simple: Be the very best in the business and never, ever stop fighting toward that goal and winning,” he said.

“Now we are fighting to win the race to find a cure for childhood cancer with our Racing for Children’s program and that is my mission for the future along with the continued growth and success of Kelly-Moss.”

The team earned four Porsche national championships last year and will continue its participation in several single-make series in 2022, including Porsche Carrera Cup North America, and will also remain active in off-road racing.
