Falken Motorsports strengthens its line-up for the 2025 NLS season
Falken Motorsports is starting the 2025 season with fresh vigour and drawing on a strong combination of experience and new talent. With three new additions to the driver line-up and the tried-and-tested turquoise-blue Porsche 911 GT3 R (992), the team is once again taking on the challenge of the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife with a brace of the race-winning car. After a total of five overall victories and several podium finishes, Falken Motorsports snatched the prestigious NLS Speed Trophy last year. The goal for 2025 is clear: to fight for top positions again especially at the 24-hour race.
Falken Motorsports has secured a well-established and successful driver line-up for the 2025 season: Tim Heinemann, Nico Menzel, Sven Müller, Julien Andlauer and Alessio Picariello will once again drive the two Porsche 911 GT3 Rs. All five drivers celebrated at least one overall victory on the Nordschleife last season and played a key role in winning the NLS Speed Trophy. They will be joined by three newcomers to the squad - Dorian Boccolacci, Morris Schuring and Dennis Marschall
Nico Menzel, part of the Falken squad since 2023, grew up in the immediate vicinity of the Nürburgring and knows the legendary Nordschleife like no one else. Sven Müller, who first drove for the team in 2018, is very familiar with the 565 hp 911 GT3 R As is Frenchman Julien Andlauer, who made his Falken debut in 2022. Alessio Picariello, who has been with the team since 2021 is also a race winner with Falken Motorsports, whilst Tim Heinemann celebrated his first overall GT3 victory on the Nordschleife last year together with Müller.
The three newcomers who have not yet raced for the Japanese tyre brand are Dorian Boccolacci, Morris Schuring and Dennis Marschall. Boccolacci fought his way to the top of GT racing via Formula 3 and Formula 2. In the 2023 season, the Frenchman was crowned French Porsche Carrera Cup champion. Last year, Boccolacci competed in the GT World Challenge Europe, where he secured a second place on the Nürburgring GP circuit. Morris Schuring competed in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) last season and finished second in the LMGT3 overall standings.. The 20-year-old Dutchman celebrated class victories at both at Spa-Francorchamps and in the Le Mans 24-hour race.. He makes the leap to the DTM for the 2025 season, where he will also drive a Porsche 911 GT3 R.
Dennis Marschall is the third newcomer. The new Falken driver has been active in GT3 racing since 2017 and has celebrated numerous successes, including pole positions and podium finishes in the ADAC GT Masters. Last season, Marschall celebrated overall victory in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring together with Frank Stippler, Christopher Mies and Ricardo Feller. Together with Falken Motorsports, the 28-year-old has his sights set on defending that success this year. The line-up of the eight drivers across the two cars will be announced later.
One tradition that remains for 2025 is Falken’s choice of starting numbers. In the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the two Porsche 911 GT3 Rs will compete as #3 and #4, while Falken fans can follow the iconic #33 and #44 numbers in the 24-hour race. With the exception of the fourth and ninth NLS races, Falken Motorsports will take part in all races, including the ADAC 24h Race on 21st/22nd June 2025.. The season will kick off on 22nd March 2025 with the first round of the popular ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series.
