Am/Am duo Shamus Jennings and Greg Caton, who also owns the team, debuted the current generation 911 GT3 R in 2019. They will compete together over the first half of the year at Brands Hatch and Donington Park as well as at British GT’s blue riband, three-hour Silverstone 500.

Porsche enjoys an enviable domestic record despite making only a handful of appearances in the senior since 2014. Indeed, it remains British GT’s winningest constructor having scored a record 156 victories in all classes since the championship’s formation in 1993, double the number of Ginetta in second, and also tops the overall (55) and GT3 (33) victory tables.

“Obviously 2020 was a bit tricky, and especially for Greg and I who predominantly want to have fun when we go racing. But with the situation now improving considerably we feel ready to return to British GT,” said Jennings. “We’re able to commit to the first three races at the moment, and the calendar shake-up has worked in our favour as we prefer the longer endurance format. Brands Hatch is G-Cat’s local circuit and the GP loop will look resplendent in late spring, so that’s bound to be a highlight.”

Team Parker has also entered a Porsche this year after announcing its switch from Bentley in mid-February. The 911s will compete against other GT3 entries from Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, McLaren and Mercedes-AMG.
