Masterful triple by Lukas Sundahl in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia

Lukas Sundahl seems to be completely impossible to defeat right now. In this year's second race in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, which was decided at Scandinavian Raceway in Anderstorp, Småland won all three races. With five straight victories in the opening of this year's championship, he has now gained a 60-point lead in the table. - A perfect start to the season.

In the premiere at Ring Knutstorp, no one really managed to threaten Lukas Sundahl but the road to victory was not as easy for Småland. Especially not in both of Saturday's races. In the first lap, both Pontus Fredricsson and Hampus Ericsson took care of him in the second corner of the first lap. But there the teammates collided and then a third Fragus driver, Emil Persson, managed to take the lead just before Sundahl. After a few laps behind the safety car, however, it was not long before Sundahl took over Persson and was able to parade towards another victory. I did not intend to take Emil so early after the safety car left the field, but the chance came and then I took it, said Sundahl who was also offered tough resistance in the final race.

But it was towards the end that the reigning champion was pressured. Pontus Fredricsson was really close during the last laps and got the chance when Sundahl made a mistake and slowed down. But then Fredricsson himself made a mistake.

I took in everything I had and it was close at the end, really close, said Fredricsson who could go from Anderstorp with two second places despite taking zero points in race two.
The situation at the end of the last race was unexpected, the front shock absorbers started to get bad, I was struggling with understeer and it affected the front tires negatively. I made a beginner's mistake and slowed down, but it worked out anyway, said Sundahl.

Behind Lukas Sundahl, who brought home a full 81 points to Växjö, it was Emil Persson from Karlskoga who collected the most points. The ranking line 7-2-4 made him take 43 points and climbed to second place in the table. Hampus Ericsson (3-8-3) is third and behind him the points are even with three drivers within six points: Pontus Fredricsson, Edvin Hellste and Hugo Andersson.

Guest driver, the Dane Jan Manussen Friday's took a fourth place finish in Fridays race with a seventh and a fifth place on Saturday. Lars-Bertil Rantzow on his return to the championship also had a very strong performance in all three races. taking a podium finish the second race. I am satisfied. The team gave me a perfect car and I had good speed all weekend, stated Rantzow, whose performance was also enough for two class victories in the Masters Cup, the class for amateur drivers over 40 years.

After two races, the Masters Cup is topped by Christoffer Bergström. This despite the fact that after a victory and a second place he was forced to retire in the final race.
Thomas Karlsson, who had a real nightmare weekend in Anderstorp, is second in the table. He became an innocent victim in all three races. In the first two he finished, but in the end it unfortunately ended against a railing.
