Porsche Sprint Challenge GB enters most exciting season yet

Porsche Sprint Challenge GB is poised to enter its fifth season in 2024. And for this year Porsche Motorsport GB welcomes the arrival of an all-new car to the single-marque GT racing championship for the mid-engined coupe. The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport will compete alongside the 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport for the first time.

Amongst the exciting newcomers joining the Porsche family is former W Series racer, Caitlin Wood (Clean Racing Ltd). Caitlin is the first Australian woman to win at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and a Barbie Sports Ambassador. In addition comes Oliver Meadows, brother of 2012 and 2013 Porsche Carrera Cup GB champion, Michael Meadows.

In 2024, drivers will compete in one of four separate categories – Pro and Am in each variant of the Cayman. The concept ensures healthy grids and provides novice and experienced racers alike with an opportunity to race for glory on equal terms. The evolution to the championship clearly demonstrates its important role as part of the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid.

Rejoining the TOCA package and racing in support of the British Touring Car Championship, Sprint Challenge GB continues with live broadcast coverage from ITV television. Each weekend will consist of two practice sessions, a qualifying session and three races. A full calendar of 18 races will take place across six weekends.
