SEEBACH Motorsport starts with a large contingent in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland

After a successful 2023 season with two title wins on the event platform of the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland, SEEBACH Motorsport will once again compete in the Porsche racing series of the race weekends this year. The racing team will field a brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and two Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport and a vehicle without an RS package.

For the first time, the racing team from Rosbach vor der Höhe will enter a brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup of the 992 generation. The vehicle will be driven by Steve Caroli, the 2022 Porsche Endurance Challenge champion. At Hockenheim, former FIA GT1 World Champion Marc Basseng will share the car with him in the endurance race – the Saxon will contest the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT3 races as a soloist.

The two Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport will compete in both the Endurance Challenge and the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4. Last year's successful duo Jochen Kilb and team owner Marco Seebach will drive the #29 car. Last year, the two won the 1c class of the Endurance Challenge. The car with the starting number #92 will be driven by Sebastian Roth in the sprint races. Roth starts the new season as the reigning title holder in the 1c class of the Sprint Challenge GT4. In the Endurance Challenge, rising star Marc Halusa will drive the car with changing teammates – in Hockenheim at the season opener, this will be Andreas Friedrich.

The line-up is completed by a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Kai Lausberg will drive the #30 car.

"After our successful 2023 season, we are doing everything we can to repeat the success this year," says team principal Marco Seebach happily. "We are going into the new season with a strong line-up and have prepared extensively for the racing season in recent months. But we are aware that we will also face strong competition this year, which we do not underestimate."

The Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland season kicks off on the last weekend in May at the Hockenheimring. On the storied circuit near Mannheim, the season of the popular Porsche event platform also ends in mid-October. In between, events will follow at the Nürburgring, the Red Bull Ring, in Oschersleben and on the Ardennes roller coaster of Spa-Francorchamps. Interested spectators can follow the races not only at the race track: this year, all six events of the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland will also be broadcast via live stream on the Internet.
