Sights on the podium for Herberth Motorsport: Start of the season in Dubai

Herberth Motorsport traditionally starts the new season in Dubai – also from January 13th to 15th, 2023. Then the team of Robert and Alfred Renauer will field two Porsche 911 GT3 R in the 24-hour race at the Dubai Autodrome. The goal for the season opener of the 24H Series is clearly a place on the podium.

Two strong line-ups compete for the podium places. Like last year, the #91 Porsche 911 GT3 R will be driven by Ralf Bohn, Daniel Allemann and Robert and Alfred Renauer. An American quartet takes a seat behind the wheel of sister vehicle #92: Jason Hart, Elliot Skeer, Adam Adelson and Seth Lucas. Both vehicles start in the GT3 Pro/Am class.

"Last year we had a lot of bad luck at the beginning of the event, so we still have a score to settle," says team manager Alfred Renauer. "We have prepared well and are coming with a strong squad."

The Porsche #911, which the team uses together with Pure Rxcing, offers another chance for a top placing. Here Sven Müller, Alex Malykhin, Joel Sturm and Harry King take the wheel.

In 2017, the team proved that they can be successful in Dubai. At that time, the team from Jederhofen celebrated an overwhelming victory. The expectations are correspondingly high. “We are highly motivated and ready to give everything. It has become a firm tradition for us to start the new season in Dubai. We are looking forward to the first challenge of the year,” adds Robert Renauer.

The starting signal for the first race of the year will be on Saturday 14 January at 15:00 local time (12:00 CET). The event will be broadcast live on the official 24H Series website .
