Yu Kuai takes pole in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia at Zhuhai

Qualifying has been run at Zhuhai International Circuit and the grid is set for the start of Round 3! A great lap from YU Kuai and Team StarChase grabbed pole position with a 1:36.593. Starting second on the grid is CUI Yue and Porsche Holding with a 1:36.811, and Daniel LU Wenlong and Team Jebsen took third with 1:36.957!

After Rounds 1 and 2 of Porsche Carrera Cup Asia 2021 Leo Ye is currently leading the championship after a great weekend in Shanghai including a race win in race 2. In Pro-Am, MIN Heng leads with 40 points, and in the Am group, Eric KWONG is leading the group with 45 points. It was a good weekend for BD Group as well, currently sitting at the top of the Dealer rankings with 42 points.

The first day at Zhuhai International Circuit set the bar for performance this weekend, as drivers faced an intense challenge with tough conditions and fierce competition. In the first Practice session at the Zhuhai International Circuit, BAO Jinlong from Team Shanghai Yonda put in the fastest lap of the session with 1:39.389. In the second Practice session CUI Yue of team Porsche Holding put in a 1:38.374 to top the timesheets for the session and grab the fastest lap of the day.
