Bruni Takes Pole for Proton Competition as Chequered Flag Waved

Gianmaria Bruni took the first pole position on his last flying lap in the number 77 Proton Competition Porsche 911 RSR-19. The Italian posted a 1m41.892 to deny Miguel Molina a home pole position in the number 80 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GTE EVO after the Spanish driver had held the top spot for almost all of the 10-minute session with a 1m42.041 lap.

Row two for tomorrow’s ELMS 4 Hours of Barcelona will be headed by the number 83 Iron Lynx Ferrari after Rahel Frey finished the session with a 1n42.266, three tenths ahead of the number 93 Proton Competition Porsche of Richard Lietz, Michael Fassbender and Felipe Laser.

The 4 Hours of Barcelona is due to begin at 11h00 on Sunday 18 April.
