Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific targeting defence of Sepang 12 Hours crown

Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific is prepared to tackle the Sepang 12 Hours this weekend, with four cars to take on the Malaysian circuit in pursuit of victory.

Dorian Boccolacci will compete in his first event as Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Selected Driver in the #61 EBM Porsche 911 GT3 R. The Frenchman has good memories from this event, having clinched second at last year’s edition, and will compete alongside Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) racer Adrian D’Silva and 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America champion Loek Hartog.

Origine Motorsport also returns to the event following its victorious performance in 2024. Two-thirds of last year’s crew are back to defend their title, with Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Drivers’ champions Yuan Bo and Leo Ye joined by experienced GT racer Adderley Fong.

610 Racing aims for Am category victory in the team’s debut event with the Porsche 911 GT3 R. 2021 PCCA champion Daniel Lu Wenlong shares the #610 machine with PCCA racers Li Xuanyu and Hu Bo, as Chen Fangping completes the quartet.

610 Racing also enters a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, with Peter Li Zhi Cong, 2025 PCCA driver Yan Chuang, Leona Chin and Sunny Wang Risheng at the wheel.

Dorian Boccolacci, EBM: “I’m excited to join EBM for the Sepang 12 Hours! It will be my first race of the season and my debut as the Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Selected Driver. I enjoyed competing here last year and managed to clinch second place, so our goal is to improve on that! I’m fully motivated for the event and can’t want to get out on track.”

Loek Hartog, EBM: “I’m delighted to be teaming up with EBM for the Sepang 12 Hours. We have a strong crew, so our goal is to be competitive and fight at the front throughout the weekend. I’m looking forward to working with Adrian and Dorian and jumping in the car.”

Yuan Bo, Origine Motorsport: “We’re really keen to get back out on track at an event that is a special one for us. We performed strongly at Sepang in 2024 and are confident we can repeat our success. It’s exciting to have Bao on board and we’re sure he will drive to a high level and help us battle for victory.”

Leo Ye, Origine Motorsport: “I can’t wait to be back at Sepang, it’s a track I really enjoy racing at and of course we have great memories there from last year. I’m looking forward to sharing the car with Bob and Bao and we’re targeting to defend our crown.”

Adderley Fong, Origine Motorsport: “I’m honoured to join Origine Motorsport in the team’s quest to defend their Sepang 12 Hours title. It’s great to be part of such a strong squad and I hope I can help Bob and Leo secure another victory at this incredible event. I’m also very excited to drive the Porsche 911 GT3 R for the first time and hopefully I can get up to speed quickly and have a successful weekend.”

Eddie Zhang, 610 Racing Team Principal: “We’re really excited to enter two cars into the Sepang 12 Hours, our first endurance race of 2025! It’s amazing to be working with Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific and the entire team and drivers are looking forward to getting out on track. We will give our all in this incredible event and hope to secure strong results with both the 911 GT3 R and 911 GT3 Cup.”

Alexandre Gibot, Managing Director Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Ltd.: “We are looking forward to the Sepang 12 Hours this weekend. We’ve got four strong line-ups set to take on the event, including Origine Motorsport returning as the defending champions, and Dorian Boccolacci’s debut as the Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Selected Driver. All three teams competing with Porsche in this event are active with us across multiple disciplines including the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, so we are delighted to have them on board and support them for this race!”
