Strong start to the season for GT3 Cup rookie Felix Hirsiger

Felix Hirsiger has started the new year of the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse with a double victory as leader of the GT3 Cup standings. The 911 GT3 Cup driver from Zug beat Chinese driver Dylan Yip on both occasions at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria. In the two GT4 Clubsport races on the 4.318-kilometer Grand Prix circuit in Styria, the Portuguese Tomas Guedes and the Swiss Remo Stebler shared the victories.

Ekaterina Lüscher, the new Junior driver of the Porsche Motorsport Club Suisse and Porsche Schweiz AG, fought her way up from seventh intermediate position to third in the second race with the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. In the Open GT group, 911 GT3 R drivers took the top positions among themselves: First Philippe Menotti won with a model from the 991 generation of the nine-eleven, then Jörg Dreisow secured first place with the current version of the GT3 racing car. In the Porsche Drivers Competition Suisse, Andreas Marti was the most evenly matched driver in the shorter race, while Philipp Müller won the longer race.
