W&S Motorsport to compete in the Porsche Sports Cup Germany 2025

W&S Motorsport will compete in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland (PSCD) in the 2025 season. The team of Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas will enter a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup and several Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport cars in the racing series, in which only Porsche cars contest.

W&S Motorsport is a Porsche specialist and has relied on racing cars from Zuffenhausen for many years. The racing team from Ofterdingen is one of the top teams in international motorsport and specializes in GT4 racing and races on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. 2024 was the most successful year to date. The squad won all four ADAC GT4 Germany championship titles.

In the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, the team secured the Cup3 title early with the CMS Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport #962 and also took the runner-up title in the Cup2 class with the AVIA racing Porsche 992 GT3 Cup #120. In the GT4 European Series, Max Kronberg and Finn Zulauf won the driver and team standings in the Pro-Am class.

Last year, W&S Motorsport supported Luciano Schneider in the PSCD and also had reason to celebrate. The 17-year-old became a three-time champion in the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport and won the overall championship as well as the team and class titles.

In 2025, the customer racing series will become an integral part of the development of junior and amateur drivers at W&S Motorsport to familiarize them with the car and the team's working methods. In combination with the workshops at the W&S Motorsport Academy and preparation in the in-house racing simulator, the aim is to prepare them for higher-class racing series. Gentlemen drivers and career changers who pursue motorsport more as a hobby and out of passion appreciate the family atmosphere in the team and also get their money's worth in perfectly prepared racing cars.

“For newcomers and career changers, the PSCD is the ideal platform for further development as a racing driver,” says Team Principal Daniel Schellhaas. “We want to pass on our expertise to them and support them on their way from their first laps in a GT4 car or Cup Porsche to becoming a professional driver.”

The Porsche Sports Cup Germany is part of the ADAC Racing Weekend in the new season and will take place over six race weekends on traditional race tracks in Hockenheim, at the Nürburgring and Red Bull Ring as well as in Oschersleben and Spa-Francorchamps. Interested drivers can contact W&S Motorsport and receive an individual offer.
