Will Aspin looking forward to ending Porsche season on a high at Brands Hatch

Will Aspin heads to Brands Hatch this weekend (October 6-8), aiming to end his Porsche Carrera Cup GB campaign on a high note, after claiming a second-place finish in the Pro-Am class last time out.

The 19-year-old British/Italian racer has battled bad luck throughout this season – his second in the series – but still visited the podium three times, including at Silverstone two weeks ago.

The Kent venue, formerly home of the British Grand Prix, is a favourite one for Will, especially in his Attis Sports liveried Porsche 911 GT3 Cup machine, as it is a circuit on which he can push the car to the limit and enjoy some of the high-speed corners on the full GP loop.

After two practice sessions on Friday, October 6th, he will take part in qualifying the following day at 15:00. There will be two 17 lap contests on Sunday, October 8th, at 12:40 and 16:30 – both of which being broadcast live in the UK on ITV4.

“I really like racing on the Brands Hatch GP circuit and it's a great track for the 911 Cup car. It's quite hard, it's fast, and it's really technical as there are so many different ways you can drive the corners around the back and how aggressive you want to be on the kerbs.

“I'm really looking forward to the weekend and hopefully, ending the season on a high. We just need some good luck to go our way to get the results we know we are capable of. We’ve continued to work hard all year, so it would be a nice reward for everyone if we could have some success.”
