Duckhams Yuasa Racing opens 2025 Porsche season at Donington Park

Duckhams Yuasa Racing is set to open its 2025 motorsport campaign as both the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Porsche Sprint Challenge GB seasons begin at Donington Park this weekend (April 26-27).

The team has enjoyed success in recent seasons, winning the Carrera Cup Drivers’ title in 2021, Drivers’ and Rookie titles in 2023, and the 2024 British GT Championship Silver/Am honours, underlining its strong reputation.

For 2025, two new faces will be supported by the team, with Max Coates contesting the Carrera Cup and Jacob Tofts competing in the Sprint Challenge – both sporting the iconic Duckhams colours.

Max brings over a decade of experience to the grid, having debuted in Carrera Cup GB 11 years ago. A proven winner across multiple series, he narrowly missed out on top honours in last year’s Sprint Challenge GB, claiming the runner‑up spot.

Jacob made an immediate impact by securing the RS Clubsport Am crown in last season’s Sprint Challenge. He dominated with seven victories and added another seven podium finishes to his tally and is the reigning Porsche Club Great Britain Sim Racing champion.

With continued support from Duckhams Oil and Yuasa—brands renowned for their commitment to performance and dependability—Duckhams Yuasa Racing is fully primed for the demands of the 2025 season. Joining them as official partners are Jurid, Moog, Luften Filters, and Herth + Buss.

Fans can track every twist and turn of the team’s campaign across both championships at www.duckhams‑yuasa‑racing.com.

Max Coates “I’m excited to launch our season at Donington Park in the Duckhams Yuasa livery. Testing has been strong, and our lap times have consistently put us at the sharp end, so I’m confident we’ll carry that form into qualifying. Donington has always produced thrilling races for me, and I believe this weekend will be no different.”

Jacob Tofts “Stepping into Pro class in the Sprint Challenge is a huge moment for me. Over the winter, the team and I have fine‑tuned the car, and I’ve focused on fitness and mental preparation. Consistency will be key in such a close championship, and with good pace at in the wet and dry last year, I feel ready to hit the ground running. A big thank you to Duckhams Yuasa Racing and all my partners—I can’t wait to get started.”
