Huber Racing downsizes Porsche Carrera Cup programme at the Lausitzring
Due to health problems, Huber Racing team boss Christoph Huber will be out of action in the coming weeks - the racing team from Hofkirchen will therefore compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup at the DEKRA Lausitzring with a reduced line-up.
Restructuring at Huber Racing for the upcoming Porsche Carrera Cup race weekend at the DEKRA Lausitzring. Team boss Christoph Huber will not be available to the team in the coming weeks due to health problems. Team management has therefore been temporarily handed over to Operations Manager Gerhard Freundorfer and Team Manager Luca Rettenbacher. With the support of the entire Huber Racing team, the two will keep the day-to-day running of the racing team going through joint full commitment.
Due to restrictions, the Bavarian racing team will only field five cars in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland at the Lausitzring. In order to focus on team management, Luca Rettenbacher will refrain from competing. Likewise, Leon Köhler will not compete.
"Even though the times are difficult and uncertain right now, we will show full support and are looking forward to continuing the good performances from the Nürburgring at the Lausitzring. We at Huber Racing are standing closely together to get through this difficult time in the best possible way," said Luca Rettenbacher. "Furthermore, the entire team wishes Christoph a quick and complete recovery! This is the most important thing at this point in time."
