Manthey Racing take win at Nürburgring Endurance Series

The Nürburgring Endurance Series championship finally had its first meeting of the year on the Nordschleife. At the end of the 4 hours of racing, the victory went to the Porsche 911 GT3 R / Manthey Racing of Kevin Estre, Michael Christensen and Lars Kern at the end of the 29 laps of the race.

In the delayed season opener of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), Porsche Customer Racing Teams scored multiple class achievements. With victory going to the Porsche 911 GT3 R / Manthey Racing of Kevin Estre, Michael Christensen and Lars Kern.

Porsche took the double with the second place in the 911 GT3 R / Frikadelli Racing Team of Fred Mako and Dennis Olsen who started on Pole position at the season opener. Dennis Olsen was the fastest in the qualification characterized by many yellow phases and secured us the best starting position with a 7:53,565 the two pilots drove to the second overall after an exciting battle with the Manthey Racing team eventually crossing the line 16 seconds behind the leader. The last step of the podium is for the Audi R8 LMS GT3 / Phoenix Racing of Nicki Thiim and Michele Beretta. Phoenix Racing (Kolb / Stippler) and KCMG (Liberati / Holzer) round out the top 5.

A strong performance by Marco Holzer, Edoardo Liberati and entire crew for the number 18 Porsche 911 GT3-R of KCMG resulted in a top 5 finish for the team taking the chequered flag in fifth place just behind the B Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3. B Falken Motorsports drivers Picariello Alessio and Werner Dirk crossed the line in seven place with Müller Tobias and Viidas Tristan of Rutronik Racing making it a top five finish in the top ten for Porsche crossing the line in ninth place. just missing out on the top ten was was the trio of Huber Motorsport Neuffer Philipp, Aust Stefan and Menzel Nico who finished in eleventh place.

In the highly competitive cup class Black Falcon teams drivers Nagelsdiek Noah, Naumann Florian and Von Danwitz Hendrik tool the overall victory in the SPPRO class

With a record starter field of thirty-three Porsche Caymans in total making up the filed In the NLS2 Cayman GT4 Trophy class it was the number 960 of W And S motorsports took the top podium spot.
