The Nordschleife awaits: 24H Nurburgring debut for Herberth Motorsport

Herberth Motorsport is adding another chapter to its extensive motorsport history: From 30 May to 2 June, the team of Alfred and Robert Renauer will compete in the legendary 24-hour race on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife for the first time. With Dennis Olsen, Matt Campbell, Vincent Kolb and Robert Renauer, an experienced quartet will be at the wheel of the #5 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

"We are looking forward to the upcoming race weekend with huge anticipation," said team principal Alfred Renauer. "To be on the grid at this legendary endurance classic is something very special for everyone. The weekend will certainly be a big challenge for our entire team, but we will give everything to be in the fight for the top positions."

At the premiere in the notorious "Green Hell", the Bavarian racing team will be supported by powerful drivers. With Dennis Olsen and Matt Campbell, the Herberth Motorsport squad includes a former and a current Porsche works driver. They are joined by Vincent Kolb, who has extensive experience on the Nordschleife, and Porsche veteran Robert Renauer.

Olsen, Kolb and Renauer have already impressively proven that this combination can be fast on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. In their first joint appearance, the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers, the trio fought in the top 10 in both races. With second place on the grid and leading laps in the second race, the drivers drew attention to themselves especially on Sunday.

And it was not only thanks to the strong performance that all eyes were on Herberth Motorsport at the Nürburgring: The team's Porsche 911 GT3 R is also a real eye-catcher. The #5 bears the characteristic white and red design of F.A.T International – the brand of Ferdinand "Ferdi" Porsche.

The official starting signal for the motorsport spectacle in the Eifel will be given on Thursday, 30 June, with the two qualifying sessions. The starting lights for the race will turn green on Saturday, June 1, at 16:00. The entire event will be broadcast in the official livestream. On free TV, NITRO will accompany the action in its entirety.
