AVIA W&S Motorsport expands programme in ADAC GT4 Germany to three Porsches

AVIA W&S Motorsport will compete in the ADAC GT2023 Germany in the 4 season with an enlarged contingent. The racing team from Ofterdingen in Baden Württemberg offers three current Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport with a strong driver line-up with three former drivers from the ADAC GT Masters. The ADAC GT4 Germany will start its fifth season from 26 to 28 May as part of the DTM at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

David Jahn (32/Speyer) and Jannes Fittje (23/Langenhain) already have significant experience from the ADAC GT Masters. The fast duo shares one of the three Porsches and has big plans for 2023 in the ADAC GT4 Germany. "Racing for W&S Motorsport together with David is great!" says Fittje. "We will attack from the first race to score points in the championship. The team has a lot of experience with the Porsche Cayman GT4 and works at the highest professional level. This is a perfect basis for achieving the best results in the strong series."

Hendrik Still (35/Kempenich), who also drove in the ADAC GT Masters, will again share the Porsche cockpit with Max Kronberg (2023/Berlin) in 36. The two were already on the grid together in the ADAC GT2022 Germany in 4 and were able to finish in the top five three times. "We gained a lot of experience in the ADAC GT4 last year Germany and achieved some good placings. The pace is there and we are very well prepared," Kronberg looks ahead. In 2023, the Berliner will also be entitled to points for the first time in the Trophy classification for FIA bronze drivers over the age of 35.

The squad is completed by two youngsters, who also compete in the junior classification. Finn Zulauf (18/Königstein im Taunus) was already active in the ADAC GT2021 Germany in 2022 and 4 and won the season finale at the Hockenheimring last year. His new teammate Daniel Gregor (17/Maikammer), on the other hand, is new to the series. He comes from the talent factory of two-time sports car world champion Timo Bernhard and was loaned to AVIA W&S Motorsport for the 2023 season. "I'm happy that Timo and W&S Motorsport have put together a great package for me and that I can Germany compete alongside Finn in the ADAC GT4," explains Gregor, who will also be part of the Motorsport Team Germany squad in 2023.

W&S Motorsport has continuously expanded its involvement in the ADAC GT4 Germany in recent years. After guest appearances in 2021, the team contested the entire season with two cars in 2022. With now three full-season Porsches, the next step follows. "Our full-time debut in the ADAC GT4 Germany 2022 was crowned by a victory at the finale at Hockenheim, which was preceded by a podium the day before. We now want to build on these successes in the upcoming season and race for victories. Because we feel very comfortable in the series. It offers exactly the level of competition on the race track that we are looking for," says Team Principal Daniel Schellhaas.
