Joos Sportwagentechnik goes on the hunt for ADAC victories with Sevem Muller and Finn Gehrsitz

The Joos Sportwagentechnik team is starting the 2023 season of the ADAC GT Masters with an experienced Porsche driver and a young talent. While Porsche driver Sven Müller has been an established top driver in the Porsche squad for years and can look back on many successes, up-and-coming star and ADAC protégé Finn Gehrsitz has been able to set a number of exclamation points since his rise from karting to car racing. Together with the team from Joos Sportwagentechnik, which won the runner-up title last year, the duo is going into the fight for the International German GT Championship 2023 with great ambitions.

After winning the runners-up championship last year, Team Joos Sportwagentechnik is also starting the 2023 season with a strong driver pairing in the ADAC GT Masters. Porsche GT works driver Sven Müller and up-and-coming talent Finn Gehrsitz will take turns at the wheel of the new Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Sven Müller has been part of the Porsche works squad since 2017. The 31-year-old has also been an integral part of the ADAC GT Masters for several years, has already achieved two victories and finished on the podium eight times. In addition to his appearances in the ADAC GT Masters, the official Porsche driver was also active and successful in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in the GT World Challenge and the 24 Hours on the Nürburgring.

Finn Gehrsitz is one of the most promising talents in German motorsport. The now 18-year-old was able to achieve both national and international successes in karting. He switched to car racing at the age of 16 and has been successful in both GT sports cars and LMP prototypes ever since. Since this season, Finn Gehrsitz has been a member of the Bundeskader Motorsport Team Germany and is sponsored by the ADAC Sports Foundation.

The Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) of the Joos Sportwagentechnik team starts again in the eye-catching colors of the main sponsor Twin Busch. In addition, proven partners such as Heizoel24 and Ernst Klimmer GmbH are still on board.

Team boss Michael Joos: “With Sven and Finn we definitely have a very powerful driver pairing with whom we can fight for victories. Sven has been a constant in this championship for years and there is no need to say anything about his qualities. I have known Finn for a long time and have followed his path. I'm sure that in Sven he has the ideal partner for further development. I think it's very important to encourage young talent and this year the ADAC GT Masters gives us the perfect platform for that. I am very grateful to all our partners who have remained loyal to us this season!”

Sven Müller, driver: “I'm really looking forward to this season. This is my first time working with the Joos Sportwagentechnik team. It's a young team that has developed into a top team in recent years. The new Porsche 911 GT3 R is a good car that we should definitely be able to compete with. I also got along well with Finn right away, so I'm very confident that we've put together a good package to attack fully. The goal is clearly the championship!”

Finn Gehrsitz, driver: “I'm really happy about the opportunity to start in the ADAC GT Masters together with Joos Sportwagentechnik and Sven Müller! In combination with the first-class team, the experienced Porsche driver Sven Müller and the new Porsche 911 GT3 R, I am convinced that we are very well positioned for the season.”
