KCMG Ready to take on ADAC qualification race at Nordschlife

KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) is set to make its final preparations for next month’s Nürburgring 24 Hours as it takes on the six-hour ADAC Qualification Race at the Nordschleife. The Hong Kong-based team has been competing at select events in the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS) to get ready for the 24 Hours and this weekend’s ADAC Qualification Race is its last chance to gain more racing experience on the fearsome Green Hell ahead of the world’s toughest endurance event.

For the first time this season, the team’s driver quartet of Edoardo Liberati, Marco Holzer, Josh Burdon and Alexandre Imperatori will be united in the #18 Porsche 911 GT3 R for the six-hour event, two hours longer than NLS races and providing a good taste of what is to come in June.ALEXANDRE IMPERATORI“I am looking forward to the six-hour ADAC Qualification Race this coming weekend. It will be the last rehearsal before the N24 and we are planning to add the finishing touches to the hard work we’ve been putting in this year. There is plenty left to do but we have a solid base and we will be aiming for a strong result.”   EDOARDO LIBERATI “I can’t wait to be back on track, making our final preparations ahead of the N24. We know our potential and we are confident we can take a strong result and at the same time strengthen our position ahead of the main event next month.”   JOSH BURDON “This weekend will be our last chance to get ready for the N24 and we are looking to build on the strong momentum and package we have been working on throughout the year. I’m excited to be sharing the car with Alex, Marco and Edo and hope to bring home a strong result for the team.”   MARCO HOLZER “I’m very much looking forward to the six-hour ADAC Qualification Race this weekend. Our fifth-place finish at NLS 2 was positive, we were able to collect a lot of data and information for the upcoming races. It will be great to drive with Alex, Josh and Edo for the final preparations before we take on the N24 together.”   MATT HOWSON TEAM MANAGER “The ADAC Qualification Race for the N24 is an important event in our 2021 season and also our last opportunity to be fully prepared ahead of the N24 itself. We've been happy with our progress so far as a team, and the drivers are performing extremely well so I'm expecting a strong result, with further experience to be gathered to ensure we are at our best for the N24.”   PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER “This weekend is a crucial one in our season and our preparation for the N24. The ADAC Qualification Race is a good rehearsal for the N24, providing useful track time and experience ahead of the main event. I’m hoping we can secure a solid result to give us confidence going into the N24 next month, while becoming more comfortable with the car and the track so we have the best possible chance of a strong result in June.”
