At the first success of the season, Malucelli dominated race 1 from the start, when from the front row he burned the author of the pole position and home driver Giorgio Amati (Ghinzani Arco Motorsport – Centri Porsche Milano) and always maintained the command of the operations until the finish line, also scoring the fastest lap in 1'37 "133. Even Quaresmini, taken from the fourth box of the grid, had earned the second position overtaking Amati and Andrea Fontana (Bonaldi Motorsport – Centro Porsche Bergamo) in the early stages of the race, while behind the two treads the race was characterized by continuous fights. Cerqui took third place after keeping away from possible contacts, while after the penalty imposed on Bertonelli Amati climbed to fourth place, Fontana to fifth and the 22-year-old South African Keagan Masters to sixth. As a result of the inverted grid of the first six of race 1, the new AB Racing – Centri Porsche Roma driver will be in pole position for race 2 of the second round of the Porsche Italia one-make car, scheduled for Sunday.
Returning to Saturday evening, among the best of the day is to underline the test of Jorge Lorenzo. The multiple MotoGP champion now official rider of the Q8 Hi Perform Team has improved his times since free practice and in race 1 he was the author of a convincing comeback from 20th to 12th place. A particularly valuable placement for the Majorcan, who achieves the goal of winning the first points of the season and ever in Carrera Cup Italia and in motoring.

And a little later Alex De Giacomi also took advantage of it, with the Tsunami RT rider who thus conquered the second step of the podium ahead of the same Cassarà, third.

Matteo Malucelli (race 1 winner):: "My problem in the first round at Imola was the start. Today I was also a bit lucky, I started well and once I managed to take the lead I could manage the race, which I would say was a perfect race. This is an important victory in many respects: for our team, for those who had doubts and for myself. It took!"
After the night on Saturday evening in favor of Malucelli, on the Romagna circuit the emotions continued on Sunday with the revenge of the home rider, who crowned the second round of the season ahead of Quaresmini on the podium and Cerqui, the new leader of the general classification. De Amicis makes a double in the Michelin Cup and approaches De Giacomi in view of thered-hot appointment at Mugello from 15 to 17 July.
Giorgio Amati is the winner of race 2 that concluded the second round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia at the Misano World Circuit. On the Romagna circuit the Porsche Italia one-make circuit, with 36 drivers registered at the start, found the public and fans enthusiastic to return to the paddock of the 911 GT3 Cup and the Porsche hospitality. Sunday at the Misano World Circuit the emotions have repaid the spectators and the desire for revenge of Amati. After the pole position obtained on Saturday morning for race 1, the Ghinzani Arco Motorsport – Centri Porsche Milano driver had not been able to start well at the start, favoring the overtaking of Malucelli. In race 2, however, the young Rimini born in 1999 did not do anything wrong and, and took full advantage of the duel between Andrea Fontana (Bonaldi Motorsport – Centro Porsche Bergamo) and Keagan Masters (AB Racing – Centri Porsche Roma) to take command of the operations and achieve the first success of the season right on the home track. A victory that also marks the first 2022 triumph of one of the talents under 24 of the Porsche Italia Scholarship Programme. Behind Amati, as already on Saturday, on the podium ended race 2 in the order Gianmarco Quaresmini (Ombra Racing – Centro Porsche Brescia) and the reigning champion Alberto Cerqui (Ghinzani Arco Motorsport – Centri Porsche Milano), new leader of a general classification still very close and that now awaits the next challenges, those of the third round of the season scheduled at the Mugello Circuit on 15-17 July.
At Misano there were two decisive moments in race 2. Starting in third behind Masters and Fontana on the front row, Amati jumped to the front at the juncture in which on the fourth lap the same Fontana, who in the meantime had overtaken the 22-year-old South African at the start leading the race, ended up in the lead at turn 6, falling in the middle of the group and then finishing tenth at the finish line. Masters at that point found himself again in second place, but in turn he came out of the games for the victory due to the drive through inflicted on him shortly after for early departure. The 22-year-old AB Racing standard-bearer then finished 15th with the fastest lap of the race in 1'37"519. In addition to Amati, Quaresmini also benefited from the situation generated by Fontana. The pilot from Brescia managed to pass Cerqui ahead of him on the podium, with the two fellow citizens respectively second and third behind the winner. Diego Bertonelli (BeDriver – Centro Porsche Piacenza) also remains in the upper floors of the general classification thanks to the fourth place obtained in a great comeback from the ninth row to redeem the penalty that had ruined race 1. Comeback also for Aldo Festante. Taken ninth, the young driver from Campania of Raptor Engineering – Centro Porsche Catania obtained his best result of the season completing the top-5.
In the final minutes of race 2, Leonardo Caglioni (Ombra Racing – Centro Porsche Padova) came out of the points zone for a header that gave the green light to the sixth place obtained by Giammarco Levorato (Tsunami RT – Centro Porsche Parma). A heated duel with Bertonelli in the last laps relegated from fourth to seventh a pimpante Lodovico Laurini (Dinamic Motorsport – Centro Porsche Latina), while the top-10 was completed by the 17-year-old Lithuanian rookie Kajus Siksnelis (Dinamic Motorsport – Centro Porsche Bologna), eighth and the best result of his 2022, from the ninth place of Enrico Fulgenzi (EF Racing) and the aforementioned Fontana. Among the important episodes, due to a contact both Stefano Monaco and the winner of race 1 Matteo Malucelli remained outside the points area. Starting seventh on the grid, the Driver of Dinamic Motorsport – Centro Porsche Verona had managed to overtake the Forlì at the start, who, however, taking a drive through, touched him to the Quercia sending him to the front and rear.
After the first personal points obtained in race 1 on Saturday night, Jorge Lorenzo was the protagonist of another convincing performance between many duels and partly conditioned by a contact with Fulgenzi that compromised the perfect condition of the 911 GT3 Cup of the Q8 Hi Perform Team. The multiple MotoGP champion, however, finished race 2 on the edge of the points zone and satisfied in the overall weekend that saw him make his debut in the car on a circuit where he had been a protagonist in the World Championship so many times. In the Michelin Cup, the 13th place overall is worth to Alberto De Amicis the double after having already imposed himself in the night race 1. The Ebimotors rider is now getting closer and closer to the leader Alex De Giacomi (Tsunami RT), third on the podium behind also the reigning champion Marco Cassarà, second and the best result of the season with Raptor Engineering – Centro Porsche Catania. A Sunday of high competitiveness for the team directed by Andrea Palma, which also celebrates the victory of Max Donzelli in the Silver Cup. In the slightly older 911 GT3 Cup class (model 991.II), the Gentleman Driver from Milan got the better of Paolo Venerosi Pesciolini (Ebimotors – Centro Porsche Firenze) and Matteo Rovida (BeDriver – Centro Porsche Piacenza), while the vice-champion finished only fifth due to a header. 2021 Davide Scannicchio (ZRS Motorsport).

But we did it, this time we started very well and winning race 2 here at home is something special. With this heat the hardest part was keeping the concentration until the finish line. The team has done a wonderful job and thanks also go to my coach Gianni Morbidelli. I'm very happy! ".
