Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific takes podium at Macau Grand Prix
Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific secured a podium finish at the 69th running of the Macau Grand Prix, with Alexandre Imperatori taking third in the Galaxy Entertainment Macau GT Cup for TORO Racing.
Starting fifth, the Swiss driver had a strong start and immediately gained a place, before progressing into third ahead of a long Safety Car period that spanned most of the shortened eight-lap race. Imperatori showed strong pace all weekend in the #11 Porsche 911 GT3 R, securing a podium in his ninth visit to the Macau GP.
In the Melco Greater Bay Area GT Cup, Jiang Ruxi put in a positive performance for RSR GT Racing, moving forwards in Race 2 to finish fourth in class in the #30 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. His teammate Xia Yu battled hard to take ninth in class in the #1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

It’s always an amazing feeling to race around this circuit at full speed, we had a strong car all weekend and displayed great pace throughout. We put in a great effort to finish third and I already can’t wait to come back next year!”
Alexandre Gibot, Managing Director Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Ltd.: “Macau is a magnificent event and I’m delighted that Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific was able to return this year, and even happier to see Alex up on the podium.
