Parker Revs Motorsport is delighted to announce that a pair of Porsche Carrera Cup GB champions, Harry King and Josh Webster, will pilot its machines in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup for the 2021 season.

Harry comes in as the existing Carrera Cup titleholder, having taken victory in 12 of the 16 races in the championship, while Josh claimed the title in 2014 and finished second in the standings last time out.

20-year-old Harry will race a dual campaign with Team Parker Racing for the 2021 season, as he defends his crown on home soil while making the step into the Supercup, the current Porsche GB Junior Driver recently confirming he will aim to secure back-to-back titles in the Carrera Cup.

2014 Carrera Cup GB champion Josh, meanwhile, has plenty of experience in the Supercup, having raced two full seasons in the series in 2017 and ’18, as well as making one-off appearances at the Silverstone round for several years prior to that. His track knowledge will be an asset to the team throughout the season.

There will not only be the challenge of a new series for both drivers who will be racing on FIA Grade 1 circuits in support of the Formula 1 World Championship, but also a new machine to get to grips with, as the Supercup debuts the 992-shape 911 GT3 Cup.

Parker Revs Motorsport, meanwhile, is a collaboration between the hugely successful Team Parker Racing and the Revs Motorsport operation of Patrick de Groot. Patrick engineered Team Parker Racing's title-winning Carrera Cup entries in 2020 and with two Supercup titles to his name, the partnership brings together the best of both organisations as they target success in 2021.

The 2021 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is scheduled to get underway around the streets of Monte Carlo, in Monaco, over the weekend of May 20-23, taking in races in France, Austria, Great Britain, Hungary, Belgium, Netherlands, and Italy.

“I’m delighted to be competing in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. It’s something I’ve been wanting to achieve since becoming a Porsche Junior Driver, is the logical step towards progressing in my career up the brand’s ladder of success, and I feel ready for the challenge.

“It’ll be an honour and privilege to represent Porsche GB as the Junior Driver on the international stage for a full season, something no other Junior has done, and I’m looking forward to still benefiting from the intuitive support I already receive in Great Britain.

“The new Supercup car is a lot more technically advanced and is quicker on an overall lap time. Hopping from two models of Porsche Cup cars will of course pose challenges, but it’s something I know I can manage. Having the same team, same engineers, and same working environment will make the transition from each weekend easier for me as a driver, which is just how we planned it out to be.

“My goal for the season is obviously to be at the front. Whether it takes a few rounds or a full season I know we’ll definitely find our feet. I understand the high level of competition there is in the championship, so I know it won’t be easy. I despise the term ‘learning year’ but this will definitely be a learning year for me, with the new circuits abroad and the environment of a Formula 1 weekend.”

“I am delighted to be back with Team Parker Racing as well as making my full-time return to the Porsche Supercup for the first time since 2018. It will be my third full Supercup season so I will be aiming to use all of my experience, especially on tracks where we don’t have much testing, to gain the upper hand. I also cannot wait to get to grips with the new 911 GT3 Cup car, as it looks absolutely fantastic and I am sure it will be really enjoyable to drive as well.
