David Jahn strengthens AVIA W&S Motorsport

NLS

AVIA W&S Motorsport is delighted to have signed David Jahn for the rest of the season in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). The 31-year-old professional racing driver from Speyer, who has already scored three class victories at the legendary 24h Race at the Nürburgring, will become team-mate of Daniel Blickle and Tim Scheerbarth in the AVIA racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 992 #120.

Jahn began his motorsport career in 2010 in the Porsche Carrera Cup and ADAC GT Masters, where he has celebrated numerous podiums and victories to this day. He has been active in GT racing for over twelve years and has gained a lot of experience in various Porsche cars. He also achieved several class victories on the legendary Nordschleife in the endurance race and in the 24-hour race, including in 2015 with the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus and in 2017 with Manthey Racing.

With his know-how and will to win, Jahn is the perfect complement to the successful Blickle/Scheerbarth duo to fight with the team for the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring in the remaining six races of the season.

Daniel Schellhaas, Team Principal W&S Motorsport: "We are delighted to welcome David to the team! He is a strong driver with a lot of experience and he will perfectly complement our two fast regular drivers at the wheel of the AVIA racing Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. We have our sights firmly set on winning the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring and we are sure that David will actively support us in this mission."

David Jahn, Driver #120: "I'm really looking forward to returning to the Nordschleife and competing in the Cup2 class with AVIA W&S Motorsport. I will probably need a few laps to get back into the rhythm. But I am sure that together we will be successful as a team. The class is strong, but we are three strong drivers with a good team behind us. It's going to be a good thing and I can't wait to be at the wheel of the AVIA racing Porsche 992 GT3 Cup."
