JDX Racing Deploys a Four-Car Assault in 2024 Carrera Cup North America Championship Campaign

JDX Racing is proud to announce their 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America program, with returning drivers Alex Sedgwick and Elias De La Torre IV - and new Carrera Cup drivers Madeline Stewart and Zachary Vanier.  All four drivers will compete in the “Pro” category.  Zachary (the reigning Porsche Sprint Challenge Champion) and Elias add Porsche Junior Driver status to their entries, and Madeline is part of an expanded 2024 Porsche Female Driver Development program. The season gets underway with an official series test March 4-5, to be held at Sebring International Raceway, the site of the opening round of the 2024 championship.  Other 2024 venues include classic tracks such as Watkins Glen and Road America - plus the Carrera Cup will join Formula 1 events at Miami, Montreal, and Austin.

Jeremy Dale - JDX Racing Managing Partner
"2024 is without a doubt the most ambitious Carrera Cup program we have put together, and for that, I want to thank all of our drivers, their sponsors, every member of our team, and our incredible partners.  Every year we strive to assemble a strong group of drivers, and this year we have hit it out of the park.  Each one of our drivers can stand on the podium, that much I am certain of - and I already know the chemistry under the tent is going to be incredible.  Being able to bring Alex and Elias back for a second season gives us important continuity, and graduating Madeline and Zachary up from Sprint Challenge gives us even more firepower.  I can’t wait to see what these incredibly talented young drivers achieve in 2024."

"I would like to thank Porsche Motorsport North America for their continued support of the Carrera Cup and all their efforts to raise the profile of the series.  It has become the premier training ground in North America for up-and-coming sportscar racing stars, and without the work they have done, that would not be the case.  I would also like to thank everyone at Byers Imports  / Porsche Columbus for their continued support.  We are entering our seventh year of partnership, and without Kevin King and everyone at Byers Imports, we simply could not do what we do.  They are equally as passionate as we are when it comes to giving young drivers the opportunity to shine.  We plan to bring them a 3rd driver’s championship in 2024!"

Alex Sedgwick - Driver No. 98
"I’m extremely excited to be rejoining JDX for the 2024 Carrera Cup season. It’s the first time in my car racing career I have been able to return to the same series, with the same team around me for a second full season. I’m hoping that consistency pays dividends as we look to take what we learned last year into a championship challenge. I can’t thank Jeremy, Harrison, and of course, PT Autosport enough for the opportunity!"

Elias De La Torre IV - Driver No. 4
"In 2024 I’ll once again be heading into the season with JDX Racing, but the big change from last year is I have my first full season of Carrera Cup competition under my belt.  That has prepared me better than ever to push on this season to get the results we as a team would like to see. Big thank you to Jeremy and the entire JDX Racing team for the opportunity to once again follow my dreams of racing and I am looking forward to the work we will get done this season."

Madeline Stewart - Driver No. 82
"I am very excited to be stepping up into Porsche Carrera Cup North America with JDX for the 2024 season. We had some great success last year in the Porsche Sprint Challenge. I developed a lot as a driver through working with JDX Racing, and I also learned so much about racing in this part of the world.  I see a great future in Sports Car Racing in the USA, and with more driving experience and track knowledge I am looking forward to building on last year - and I have a fantastic team around me to do so. I’d like to especially thank Porsche Motorsport North America for the support they’ve provided through the Female Driver Development Program, which has helped me get on the grid this year. Also, to Jeremy and Harrison from JDX Racing for their continued support."

Zachary Vanier - Driver No. 9
"I'm very happy to be joining JDX Racing for the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup Championship. Jeremy and Harrison have developed an extremely competitive program, both on and off the track which will be valuable in our championship hunt. This is something Jeremy and I have been working towards since we first met in 2018, so to finally get a program together feels rewarding in many ways. I remember our first interaction at the Montreal F1 in 2018, discussing the likelihood of joining the team in the future. COVID had an impact on these intentions, but we always kept in contact and now we’re working together. To say I'm excited is an understatement. I’ve been working towards joining this championship for a few years now, so joining the series as a Porsche Motorsports North America Junior Driver is a dream come true and something I’m proud of, especially since I feel the most prepared and motivated for a season I’ve ever felt. I need to give a huge thank you to everyone who’s supported me and brought me to this point in my career - Including my dad, partners, friends, family, and previous teams. We’ve got some amazing partners aboard our program this year and it truly wouldn’t have been possible without them, so I can’t thank them enough; Technica Mining, Sofvie, Don’s Pizza, Anmar, Pfaff / Porsche Centre Vaughan, Dakins Design, and Byers Imports / Porsche Columbus."
