100% utilization in 992

The Porsche Cup Brazil season brought the arrival of the brand new GT3 Cup of the 992 generation, a novelty for all riders on the grid and for the category itself, which received a new car to understand and develop the best possible setup for its drivers.

Every novelty requires a certain adaptation, and with a car that revolutionized the most produced racing cars on the planet would be no different. With the riders still meeting the new car chances, two of them have stood out and have made up the podium in the four races we have had: Marçal Müller and Chris Hahn.

Currently leader and vice-leader of the championship, the drivers showed good adaptation to the car. Müller won the first race in the new car, completing a Grand-Chelem in Goiânia in the season opener and almost completed the perfect stage by climbing to second place on the podium on that occasion. The winner was Chris Hahn, who returned to the category after two years away.

Second round and the most produced race cars on the planet landed at Velocitta for two more races. Müller and Hahn again showed that they have a good hand in the 992 and climbed the two podiums of the stage. Marçal was fifth in the first race and second in Sunday's race, while Hahn fourth on Saturday and third on Sunday.

"The car has improved as a whole, it does not have an aspect that it left to be desired in relation to 991.2. The fact that the car is more precise as a whole, in braking, in the contour of the curves and change of gears, this made our adaptation much easier." said Marçal.

The #544 rider showed good mastery of all the improvements that the new model brought and quickly adapted to the 992.

Muller has already shown that he can adapt quickly to the challenges imposed. In the 2021 season, while racing for the Carrera Cup in the Sprint stages, he had a challenge along with Matheus Iorio in the then GT3 Cup, with 3.8. The driver who had already been champion in the first generation of the 991 quickly readapted to the car and won along with Iorio in Goiânia.

The driver went through the adaptation to the 992 also in Goiânia, where he won the first generation of the most produced racing cars on the planet. For the Velocitta journey, he found a new challenge in relation to the car, which went to the track with the ABS system turned off, causing drivers to face an extra challenge in the second stage of the season.
