ADAC GT4 Germany to compete in the DTM six times in 2023

In its fifth season, the ADAC GT4 Germany will start in a new environment: All six race weekends in Germany and the Netherlands will be held as part of the DTM's high-attendance events. The season starts from 26 to 28 May at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben near Magdeburg. Sustainability is also very popular in the ADAC GT4 Germany in 2023: For the second season in a row, the series relies on a sustainable fuel Shell Blue Gasoline 98 GT Masters, which consists of around 50% renewable components and makes a significant contribution to CO2 reduction. All races will also be shown live in Germany and other European countries in 2023.

Traditionally, the ADAC GT4 Germany starts the new season at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. In the Magdeburg Börde, the start of the season from 26 to 28 May 2023 will be stepping on the gas. The next highlight will follow just a few weeks later, when the ADAC GT4 Germany visits the Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands from 23 to 25 June 2023. From 4 to 6 August 2023, the series will celebrate the halfway point of the season at the Nürburgring.

Two weeks later, the second half of the season begins at the DEKRA Lausitzring from 18 to 20 August 2023. The circuit in Brandenburg was last visited by the ADAC GT4 Germany in 2020. The decisive phase in the title fight will be heralded at the Sachsenring from 8 to 10 September 2023. The ADAC GT4 will contest the season finale Germany from 20 to 22 October 2023 at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg.

The concept with two drivers and a driver change in the middle of the race remains unchanged in the fifth season, only detailed adjustments are planned in the sporting regulations. In addition to the drivers' and teams' classifications, the Junior and Trophy classifications will again be announced in 2023, which are endowed with non-cash prizes worth around 100,000 euros. Interested teams can register for the ADAC GT4 Germany 2023 from 25 January.

After deciding the title at Hockenheim, ADAC GT4 teams Germany have the chance to participate in an extraordinary GT4 event. From 27 to 29 October, the ADAC and the SRO Motorsports Group will host the non-championship "6 Ore di Roma" in Vallelunga/Italy. The endurance event on the outskirts of Rome is the first six-hour race reserved exclusively for GT4 cars.
