New to the ADAC GT Masters: ID Racing starts with a Porsche 911 GT3 R in 2022

Iris Dorr’s newly-formed team to line up with Porsche. Experienced crew has already tasted victory in the ADAC GT Masters. Green light for a new team: ID Racing will line up in this season’s ADAC GT Masters with a Porsche 911 GT3 R. ID Racing joins ZVO Racing, Allied Racing and Madpanda Motorsport as one of many newcomers to the German GT Championship. Iris Dorr’s newly-formed outfit from Lonsee in southern Germany will contest the season with a well-versed team, which can call on a wealth of experience gained in the German GT Championship in the past. The crew made its debut in the series with MRS GT-Racing in 2011, since when it has won three races. The victory in the 200th ADAC GT Masters race at the Red Bull Ring in Austria in 2020 remains steeped in history.

The team principal has been actively involved in motorsport for 30 years. First as a driver, then as a manager, and now as an owner. ID Racing now allows Iris Dorr to put her ideas of a motor racing team into practice. Iris Dorr: “The whole team is very confident and excited about the season ahead in the ADAC GT Masters. There is great strength in depth in this series, but our team already has a lot of experience and works very well together. We are currently still finalising our driver line-up. We will soon announce the drivers that will be behind the wheel for us. ID Racing is really looking forward to finally going racing in just three months.”

ID Racing also lines up in the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, which stages the majority of its races on the support programme for the German GT Championship.
