The dust had barely settled from the opening rounds of the Porsche Carrera Cup France that took part only one week ago at Magny-Cours, Dorian Boccolacci dominated both races in the opening two rounds and was looking to continue his wining streak has the strong field of 28 cars ascended on the Paul Ricard circuit for rounds three and four.
The returning 2020 champion Jaxon Evans was not going to make it that straight forward for Boccolacci laying down the gauntlet for the weekend after dominating the first race of the weekend on the Saturday morning.
The Martinet by Alméras pilot, who does not score a point given his guest status in the Var got the jump on poleman Dorian Boccolacci off the line and held on to the lead throughout the race taking the win by only 1.468 of a second completing a one two finish for the team.
Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer took the last spot on the podium but by no means was it an easy race for him, despite having a problem with the front brakes from the start of the race, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer of BWT Lechner Racing resisted like hell against the constant onslaught of Florian Latorre of CLRT to clinch third place. Alessandro Ghiretti of Martinet by Alméras completes the top 5.
Jérôme Boullery of YDEO by Racing Technology won in the Pro-Am class ahead of Christophe Lapierre of Pierre Martinet by Alméras with Nicolas Misslin of BWT Lechner Racing taking third place.
